CARING FOR YOUR MOVA ITEMS

Preserve the beauty. Extend the life.

Every MoVa piece is part of something larger—a living wardrobe designed to move, evolve, and return. By caring for your items thoughtfully, you actively support this circular rhythm. Your role as a wearer is not passive: it is integral to keeping this motion alive.

Treating your clothing with care ensures each piece lives longer, looks better, and can be rotated or reimagined when the time is right. In doing so, you uphold the value of craftsmanship and participate in a more intentional way of dressing—where quality is honoured, not consumed.

FOLLOW THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS..

..to ensure the longevity of your MoVa Items.

Dry Clean Only

To maintain the structure, softness, and sophistication of your garment, we recommend professional dry cleaning only. This method preserves the original silhouette and fabric integrity while eliminating bacteria and build-up without damage.

We work exclusively with dry cleaners who use eco-conscious techniques and gentle, non-toxic solvents, and we encourage you to seek out similar services in your area.

Hardware Handling

If your item includes metal hardware or detachable elements, please be sure to remove them before cleaning to protect both the materials and the finish.

Storing with Intention

Proper storage is just as important as proper cleaning.

To keep your MoVa garments in pristine condition between wears:

  • Hang tailored pieces like blazers and coats on wide, structured hangers to preserve their shape.
  • Fold delicate knitwear to prevent stretching.
  • Store in breathable garment bags to protect from dust while allowing airflow.
  • Avoid plastic covers, which can trap moisture and damage fabrics over time.
  • Keep your wardrobe space dry and shaded, away from direct sunlight or heat sources that can fade or weaken fibers.
  • For a lasting freshness, consider placing a natural lavender sachet or cedar block in your wardrobe—gentle on garments and beautifully aromatic.
