Sustainability Disclaimer
Last updated: 1 October 2026
At MoVa, we are committed to operating with transparency and integrity as we build a more conscious approach to fashion. Our brand is founded on circular principles, with a strong focus on responsible sourcing, ethical manufacturing, garment longevity, and end-of-life care. However, we believe it is important to be honest and realistic in the way we communicate our sustainability efforts.
While sustainability is central to our values, MoVa does not claim to be 100% sustainable. We recognize that true sustainability is a complex and ongoing process, and that no brand can claim full sustainability in absolute terms. Our approach is rooted in continuous improvement, and we are committed to evolving our practices across all areas of our business.
We make every effort to minimize our environmental impact by:
- Following a circular business model that reduces waste and extends garment life
- Supporting the extended lifecycle of our garments through repair, reuse, and recycling in partnership with Nouvelles Fibres Textiles
- Offering return systems for purchased items through integrated QR codes
- Using deadstock, recycled, certified, or natural-fibre materials where available and appropriate for the product
- Maintaining close relationships with our production partners, with all production based in Portugal under fair working conditions
Information provided on our website about sustainability, materials, sourcing, or production reflects the most accurate and up-to-date practices available at the time of publishing. We regularly review and refine our processes and commitments, and may update relevant content accordingly.
We encourage our community to view sustainability as a shared responsibility - one that involves both brand and consumer making conscious choices. If you have questions or would like further information about our practices, please contact us at info@mova-atelier.com.
